Training and Recruitment Services

The Manley Summers Group has operated within the Recruitment and Training sectors for over 20 years. Our Training centre is based near London bridge and offers a range of training opportunities to organisations and individuals Nationwide, our London Bridge Training centre employs over 30 Full Time Assessors, and Tutors.

Train to Gain is an LSC-funded programme to encourage employers to give their low-skilled employees time off work to achieve the equivalent of a Level 2 vocational qualification or an equivalent basic skills qualification. Train to Gain is aimed at small to medium-sized employers who do not have a strong tradition of training their staff. Larger employers are also eligible but are not in the priority group.

Eligibility: Low-skilled employees aged 19+ who have not yet achieved a Level 2 qualification or equivalent (i.e: an NVQ Level 2 or four GCSEs at Grade C and above) are eligible for Train to Gain. Older, very experienced employees without a Level 2 qualification may be able to achieve a Level 3 qualification under Train to Gain. Employees must also meet LSC residency requirements and have a contract of employment. Volunteers, self-employed people and people working for an employment agency are also eligible.
